Parts Communication is a way of addressing ambivalence.
Think of it this way – you know you should do something, part of you wants to do it, but part of you is avoiding it.

Sometimes, coping mechanisms used as a kid are still in play but aren’t a good look for you as an adult. We can explore these mechanisms and come up with better ways to deal with them.
