Teachers, office workers, therapists – we all had to switch quickly, and we did.

I’ve been doing telehealth for a year, and it’s working well.

Teletherapy eliminates a lot of barriers.

Seeking therapy via telehealth accommodates your needs. Weather isn’t an issue, childcare becomes easier to resolve, and traffic ceases to be a problem.

I’ve had clients who pulled over and did their session in a handy parking lot! And sometimes, I’ve been able to do a few sessions on the fly when someone needed to move their time.

I love the flexibility of telehealth, and so do most of my clients.

Even after re-opening an office, I plan to keep doing telehealth with those who want it because so many people find it more manageable.

Here’s How It Works.

We set up a complimentary phone call and discuss where you are now and where you want to be. We decide if we fit, and I use my Electronic Health Record to send you some forms to fill out and sign online through the HIPAA-compliant client portal. The basic procedure happens the way it did when I had the office, too.

After that, we start our F2F meetings online. You can use your computer, tablet, or smartphone, and any place where you feel comfortable and private.

I have a lot of options but mostly use Doxy.me, Simple Practice, or FaceTime. If one option causes issues, we smoothly cruise to the next one.
